Dubai club Al-Nassr have turned to another Premier League striker after failing to make a move for United’s Ronaldo.
Dubai club have chosen Liverpool striker Firmino as their new target. The Brazilian is out of contract with the Merseyside club in the summer of 2023, so negotiations over a new contract have begun.
Due to Jurgen Klopp’s request, we know that the extension issue is a convenient situation. But Firmino will be able to talk to clubs outside of England in January, and Dubai’s top-wage offer could be a game-changer.
Saudi powerhouse Al Nassr offered Ronaldo a 3-year contract with a high salary of up to $225 million. But the Portuguese rejected it because he wanted to continue playing in Europe until 2024.
Al-Nassr will offer Firmino a high contract, who has not been guaranteed a regular appearance under Klopp for the past 18 months. On the Liverpool side, Diez, Due to Jota’s injuries, Firmino will continue until the end of the season.
